Annie Mae Tarpley of Athens died Thursday. She was 85.
Mrs. Tarpley was a member of the Madison Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Edward Tarpley of Athens; one sister, Liddie Bea Johnson of Athens; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Ray Pettit and Mike Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
