Harold C. (Hans) Christiansen, 66, of North Sixth Street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at his home. He has been in ill health over a period of time. Funeral services will be at 2pm Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Allen McCaul will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Christiansen was born June 6, 1893, at Manitowoc, son of the late Charles Peter and Emma Houghton Christiansen. He lived all his life in Manitowoc and worked as a hull foreman for Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc for ? years. He had to retire because of illness. He married the former Elizabeth Mary Witt, June 16, 1915 at Manitowoc. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Foreman's Club. Survivors include the wife, a son, Robert, of Manitowoc, a daughter, Mrs. Norman Kornely of Manitowoc, a brother, Dr. C.D. Christiansen of Port Washington, four sisters, Mrs. Theodore Scholtz of Wausau, Mrs. Dave O'Connell of Janesville, Mrs. George Carbon of West Bend and Mrs. Gertrude Hansen of Madison and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2pm Wednesday.
