Mrs. John Gast dies at home near Valparaiso

Mrs. John B. Gast died at the home of her son, John H. Gast, west of the city, Tuesday. She was 86 years old.

Five sons, George, Joseph, William, Anthony, and John Gast, besides three daughters, Mrs. Peter Bentley of this city, Mrs. Michael Henderlong of Crown Point and Mrs. James Stupeck of Hammond survive. One half-brother, Henry Dolch of Valparaiso, thirty-four grand children and 22 great grandchildren also survive.
John B. Gast, the husband died 22 years ago.
