Doris Abel, 71, of Alma died Thursday, March 30, 2006, at a local nursing home.
She was a homemaker, member of Church of Christ and widow of Lee Abel.
Graveside service was held March 31 at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by three sons, Jim and Joe Abel, both of Alma, and David Abel of Mulberry; a sister, Shirely Weaver of Van Buren; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
