George Pirtle, 85, Dies in Hospital -George W. Pirtle resident here 13 years, died in a local hospital today after a short illness. He was 85. Mr. Pirtle, who came here from Clovis, lived at 3810 Smith SE. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, and four daughters, Mrs. M. L Gangloff in California and Mrs. R. L. Starnes, Mrs. Ora Telford, and Mrs. Bessie Elledge of Albuquerque. Funeral services will be announced by French-Fitzgerald.
