Rosa Sanchez, 56, passed away Sept. 5, 2010 at Waterman Convalescent Hospital in San Bernardino, Calif.

Rosa was born March 16, 1954 in El Paso, Texas to Manuel and Concepcion Sanchez.

Rosa was a loving sister and daughter; she loved music and loved to sing and was a happy and lively young woman.

She is survived by eight sisters, Maria (Rudy) Smith, Gloria Sanchez, Monica (Armando) Saldivar, Martha (Arturo) Celaya, Rita Sanchez, Teresa Sanchez, Carolina (Arturo) Rodriguez and Ramona Sanchez; five brothers, Manuel (Socorro) Sanchez, Carlos (Linda) Sanchez, Ascencio (Angelica) Sanchez, Gabriel (Nellie) Sanchez and Tony Sanchez; and an abundance of nieces and nephews.

Rosa was preceded in death by her great great aunt, Manuela Sanchez; her nieces, Monica Ortiz and Sabrina Prieto; nephew, Charles A. Smith; paternal grandparents, Cruz and Rita Sanchez; and maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Maria Jimenez. She was loved and will be missed by all.

Viewing will be held Sept. 12 from 4-8 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Mass will be Sept. 13 at 9 a.m. also at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 875 E. Chanslorway in Blythe, and services will precede to the Palo Verde Cemetery.
