On Sunday September 5th, my Mom, Kiely, had a massive stroke. She had a major blood clot in the left side of her brain. On Wednesday September 8th, my Mother had passed away. She was one amazing woman. Was willing to help anyone with anything.∼Kiely-Jo Kaye Phelps-Malone September 8, 2010 Kiely-Jo Kaye Phelps-Malone, 40, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at University Hospital, Syracuse, after a brief illness. Born in Oneida, she was a life resident of Cleveland and was a 1988 graduate of PV Moore High School, Central Square. She worked at Vella's Northshore Market, Cleveland, and had previously worked at Oneida Limited. Kiely was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cleveland. Surviving are her husband of 19 years, Patrick Malone; her daughter, Dakoata Wilcox; her son, Gabriel Malone; a grandson, Elijah Wilcox, all of Cleveland; her parents, Donald and Linda Phelps of Cleveland; two sisters, Donetta Whitney and Garolyn Seymour, both of Cleveland; her brother, Joseph Phelps of Syracuse; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Services will be noon Saturday, September 18, 2010, at St. Mary's Church, Lake St., Cleveland, with calling hours at the church from 10 a.m. to noon, before the service. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the family at 15 Factory St., Cleveland, NY 13042.
