Goldie A. Rench, 74, of 525 Willard Street, died at 11:25 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Utlaut Memorial Hospital ater a brief illness.
Services were to be conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Calvry Temple Assemblies of God Church, with the minister, Eugene Dayka officating. Interment in Auburn Cemetery, the Donnell Funeral Home in charch.
Born north of Pocahontas on February 10, 1901, Mrs. Rench was the daughter of John and Julia A. (nee File) Lutz and attended the public schools. She moved to Champaign, residing there a year, before returning to a farm north of Pocahontas, then in 1913 moving to Greenville, IL.
She married Walter A. Rench, a livestock and milk hauler on July 24, 1920 at Champaign, IL. He died in March of 1970. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Donnie on March 20 of this year and Bobby, in infancy.
Survivors are a son Elbert T. of Keysport. Nine grandchildren and even great grandchildren also three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Nina File, Mrs. Ray (Ivah) Gannon, Mrs. Edith Gowen, Charles Lutz all of Greenville and Lloyd Lutz of Alhambra. Preceding her in death were sisters Ella Mae Markey, Bessie Green, Bertha Sapp, John Lutz, and five sisters and brothers in infancy.
