This information in his bio section is false:
Marriage
18 Jun 1856 • Frédéricton (Bureau de Santé), Acadie (Nova Scotia and New Brunswick)
Fredericton was originally settled as Pointe Ste-Anne by France on what had been indigenous peoples land for thousands of years. In 1758 Pointe Ste-Anne's 82 inhabitants fled after it was destroyed in one of the many battles between France and England for control of the strategically important part of the East Coast area of North America.

By the time of this "1856 marriage" Fredericton had been part of England-controlled Nova Scotia for the past 101 years since 1755. However, in order to accommodate the large number of "United Empire Loyalists" settlers (soldiers & their families plus people who did not support the U.S. Revolution) in 1784, Nova Scotia was split into two provinces and Fredericton was part of New Brunswick.

Thanks
