Services Held for Gertrude Hart
Funeral services for Gertrude Frances Hart, 67, were held Monday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. at the Rhoad Memorial Chapel in Sargent with the Rev. Robert Frescoln officiating Mrs Hart died Thursday, Jan. 30, in the Community hospital. Pallbearers were Ora Deal, Kenneth White. Amos Knapp, Howard Leibert, Lysle Orvis and Clyde Drake. Burial was in Mount Hope cemetery with Rhoad Funeral Home in charge of arrangements Gertrude Frances Daugherly was born July 23, 1901 in Miller, Neb. to John and Carrie Daugherly. She was united in marriage in 1922 to Sidney Cassel They were parents of one son In 1930 she was married to George Douglas and they had four daughters and one son. Mr. Douglas died in 1937. In 1943 she was married to Lawrence Grant Hart. He passed away in March, 1960. Mrs. Hart continued to live in Sargent until moving to the home of her daughter Beverly and family at Sumner, Neb. on Nov. 24, 1968. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, one brother and two step-sons. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. N . B. (Betty) Broward of Orlando, Florida., Mrs Ernest (Velma) Sundberg of Hillsdale, Wyo., Mrs. A. P. (Beverly) Crawford of Sumner and Mrs. Jonn (Jeanine) O'Connor of Shoshoni, Wyo.. two sons, Glen Cassel of Horse Creek, Wyo. and Ronald Douglas of Big Springs; one sister Mrs. Willard (Eva ) Real; one brother Howard Daugherty; twenty-seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
