Ruth Adeline Anderson Spencer passed away peacefully on December 17, 2006 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 23, 1928 to Enoch and Nettie Anderson. She had four sisters and two brothers.

She married Emanuel Spencer on January 8, 1966 and was later sealed in the Jordan River LDS Temple. She served many callings in the church, including a mission with her loving husband.

She was proud of her 27 year career at Zions Bank. Her friends and family were precious to her. Her special spirit will be loved and missed by all.

Ruth is survived by her children, Richard (Sheri) Nieman, Michael (Charla) Nieman, Sherry (Kevin) McCusker, Paulette Howard, Jeff (Valynn) Spencer, Marlin Spencer, Sandra (Roy) Batty; 28 grandchildren and 30 great- grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006 at the Butler 18th Ward, 6634 South Greenfield Way (1920 East), where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice in Ruth's honor.
