She was born at Garrett, KY on November 29, 1952 to Ervin Brown and Matilda Mae Eversole Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 Sisters- Evelyn Dent and Laverne McMahan. Survivors include her Husband- Bill Bailey; Sons- Joseph Bailey and Thomas Bailey; Brothers- Rudell Brown and Wayne Brown; Sisters- Inez William, Dorothy Wright, Cora Blair and Darlene Melton. Funeral services for Marlene Bailey will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Don Pratt, Danny Dixon and Squire Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Memory Garden at Hindman, KY. Friends may call for visitation at the chapel after 6:00 PM Sunday with additional services Sunday evening at 7:00 PM.
