Mrs Rachel Jones died at her home, 409 Northampton st, Wilkes-Barre, where she had lived for the past 50 years. Both she and her husband, James D Jones, who died a few years ago, were natives of Wales. Mrs Jones is survived by the following children: Mary (Mrs Sidney R) Lyons of Forty Fort; Mrs Harry Schafer of Easton; Miss Margaret Jones, David C Jones, Blanche (Mrs Wayne A) Newman, Thomas A and Morgan A Jones, all of this city. The funeral was held from the family home, with interment in Hollenback cemetery.
