Age 76. Died Saturday, May 26, 1984. He was born Sept. 4, 1907, in Orlando, Ok.. He had lived most of his life in Kaukauna and was married to Nell Vogt in 1930. He had been employed at Gustman Chevrolet in Kaukauna for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1973. He was a member of the Kaukauna Knights of Columbus Council 1033.

Survivors besides his wife Nell are two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Gene King, Kaukauna; Dot and Gordon Weyers, New Auburn; one son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Jane of Kaukauna; two brothers, Sil of Brillion, and Rueben of Hilbert; 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kaukauna with the Rev. David Schmidt officitating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today and on Monday morning until the cortege leaves for the church.

There will be a prayer service today at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services for William (Bill) Schaefer, 76, 317 W. 11th Street, a resident of this city for more than 50 years, were at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Schaefer, an employee of Gustman Chevrolet-Oldsmobile, Inc., Kaukauna, for almost four decades, died on Saturday, May 26, 1984.

Born September 4, 1907, in Orlando, Oklahoma, he moved with his family to Forest Junction at the age of seven and resided there until his marriage to the former Nell Vogt in 1930. He worked at Gustman's for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1973. Mr. Schaefer was a member of Kaukauna Council No. 1033, Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Nell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Gene King of Kaukauna, and Dot and Gordon Weyers of New Auburn; one son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Jane Schaefer of Kaukauna; two brothers, Sil of Brillion, and Reuben of Hilbert; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dan King, Keith Weyers, Kevin Weyers, Bob Schaefer, Bill Schaefer and Ken Schaefer. Members of the Knights of Columbus No. 1033 served as honorary pallbearers including Joseph Sadlier, Ed Vanevenhoven, Joe Appleton, Richard Steffen, Roman Simon and Floyd Draeger.

The Greenwood Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
