Lucy Jane Ireland
Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 11, for Lucy Jane Ireland, 82, a resident of Hood River for 29 years. Lucy Jane Ireland died at the Good Shepherd hospital in Hermiston. She had made her home at 1801 Eugene in Hood River. Anderson Funeral Home directed the services with Dr. R. A. Hutchinson officiating and interment at Idlewilde.
Surviving Mrs. Ireland are three sons, Aaron of Tigard, Oswald of Hermiston and Homer of Hood River; a brother Celia Woodruff of Kennwick, Wn.; and a sister Ada, of Stockton, Cal. Born in Lincoln county, Mo., to Mr. and Mrs. Francis Woodruff, she was a member of the Christian church and the Rebekahs.
