Myrl was a proud WWII Veteran and worked as a cabinet maker until his retirement. More importantly he was a mighty prayer warrior for his family. He was strong in his faith and loved his church family and adored his grandchildren who always made him smile.
Myrl was greeted at Heaven's Gate by his wife of 57 years, Opal Pearl Baker (married Sep 26, 1945); and his stepson, Raymond Philpott.
He leaves wonderful memories with his daughter, Jane Babbit and husband C.J.; stepson, Ernie Philpott and wife Pam; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Viewing will be Sunday from 12Noon-8PM at the funeral home. Services to celebrate his life will be 10:00 AM Monday at Capitol Hill Assembly of God
