She was a homemaker but also worked for a Hosiery Manufactory Company (Climax Hosiery)in Athens, Ga. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, flower arranging and going to Bible Study Groups. She was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Training Union for several years.
The story is told that when she started talking she could not pronounce her name plain and called it 'Noie Bill' and the name (Bill) stuck all her life. She was deeply loved by all that knew her and is greatly missed by her friends and family.
