Albertina Schaeppi Frei and husband John Kasper Frei came from Switzerland to America in 1884 with two children; Julius and Albertina. Their third child, Ida May was born in Pittsford, NY in 1890.

Mrs. Albertina Frei married (2) Carl John Abel 1909 in Pittsford, NY. Carl Abel was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua, NY in 1921, with his first wife and children.

John Kasper Frei went west in 1903, remarried and died in Kansas City, KS.
