A. Emogene "Jean" Tucker, 81, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, in comfort and peace at her home in Victorville, Calif., with her children, grandchildren and friends at her side.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Maries County June 3, 1928, the daughter of Steve Q. Bade and wife Ruth Irma.
She and her husband owned and operated Bade Shoe Store, Union, for many years. Mrs. Tucker was a member of First Baptist Church, St. Clair.
Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, Philip F. Tucker; her father at the age of 90; her mother at the age of 83; her brother, Clyde David Bade, at the age of 3 months.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas Crites and wife Nan, Apple Valley, Calif., and Michael Crites and wife Laura, Victorville, Calif.; one daughter, Dana Ramirez and husband Mario, Victorville, Calif.; one brother, Kenneth Bade, Kankakee, Ill.; five grandchildren, Alonzo Daniel and wife Dorothy, Highland, Calif., Rich Daniel and wife Kris, Victorville, Calif., Natalie Mimless and husband Justin, Highland Ranch, Colo., Nicolette Johnson and husband Todd and Cozette Crites, all of Cimmeron, Colo.; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa Daniel, Alonzo Daniel Jr., Zach Daniel, Zoey Daniel, Taylor Mimless, Delaney Mimless, Everette Johnson and Annabelle Johnson; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 9, at Midlawn Funeral Home, Union, with the Rev. Phil Turner officiating.
Interment was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union.
Memorial donations to St. John's Mercy Hospice, 1713 Heritage Hills Drive, Washington, MO 63090 are preferred.
