Raymond C. Kennedy.
__Raymond C. Kennedy, 50, of 438 Fourth avenue SW, Cedar Rapids resident most of his life and an employe of Wilson and Company, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at 7 p.m. Friday after a long illness. Born at Holbrook April 12, 1905, he was affiliated with St. Patrick's church and was a member of the local CIO.
__Surviving are his wife, Mary; eight children, Mrs. Mary McGuire of Charleston, S.C., and Harold, Kathleen, Donald, Phyllis, Marilyn, Patricia and Carol, all of Cedar Rapids; his father, Edward Kennedy of Cedar Rapids, and three sisters, Mrs. Harvey Powell of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Maynard Hoye of Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Raymond Hartsock of Vallejo, Calif.
__Services will be conducted in St. Patrick's church at 9 a.m. Monday by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. D. J. Lenihan. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. Msgr. D. J. Lenihan will recite the Rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday, WCOOF Court No. 727 at 7:30 at the Teahen chapel, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday.
