Disinterment from the Thomas Jones Family Cemeteries (East & West), Dinwiddie County during the 1941-42 expansion of Fort Pickett.
"Thomas Jones Cemeteries (East and West)
These two family cemeteries were located just north of Wilcox Road and east of Pelham Road (Training Area 32) in what was Tract I-438 owned by Thomas S. Jones in 1944
(see Table 1 and Figure 1). Both are marked as "relocated" on the 1944 map and an unspecified one (possibly both put together?) is included on Godburn's list of cemeteries
relocated to Butterwood Church where 13 individuals are listed: E.B. Jones, 5 Unknown Jones, 3 E. Bland Jones Infants and 4 Unknowns (Godburn 1977: G-5)."
