William Thomas Inness was born in Shelby, Nebraska in 1885 and passed away at the Annie Jeffrey Hospital at Osceola. On April 5, 1911 he was united in marriage to Mary E. McMeekin. To this union were born four daughters. His wife and two daughters, Tena and Mariam, preceded him in death. He is survived by his two daughters, Mrs. Wendell Carter of St. Louis and Mrs. George Sneath of Tonawanda, New York, four grandchildren, two son-in-laws and two sisters, Mrs. Tena CARLSON of Blair, Nebraska and Mrs. Nina MCKEAG of Osceola, Nebraska. William was a quiet, unassuming man. He attended his Church at Shelby faithfully as long as his health permitted. He was a kind and loving father and brother, very patient and uncomplaining during all his many years of suffering and loneliness.
