Miss Mary Anna Meyer, 80, died at 5:50 yesterday afternoon at the home of her sister, in the town of Eaton, three miles north of St. Nazianz. She had been ill for only a few days. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9am at the St. Gregory's church in St. Nazianz. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Miss Meyer was born in Reading, Pennsylvania June 21, 1860. She came to St.Nazianz with her parents when she was seven years old, settling on a farm in the town of Eaton.
Survivors include two sisters and two brothers.
The Young Ladies Sodality of the St. Gregory's church will say the rosary at the Kellenbenz funeral home at 3pm Sunday. The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Saturday to the time of the services Monday.
