The world has lost an amazing, loving and kind spirit. Miss Daniela Joel, 14, has passed on to God's tomorrow. She was a star student at Parkview High School, and an aspiring tennis champion, who competed nationally in 2007. Daniela fought bravely against the ravages of her brain tumor, with the love of her mother, family and friends. Always a brave person, she sang at her father's funeral, Adam H. Joel, Sr., at the age of nine. I didn't know this little lady, but I am proud of her zest for life and awesome strength. She even finished her homework the day she passed away. We should all be so dedicated. Much love and respect to you, dear daughter! And, I'm sure your mom will find a way to scatter your ashes at Wimbledon. Her celebration of life service was held on Saturday, at the First Baptist Church of Lilburn.
