Mrs. Fessler, nee Margaret Meyer, was born in Eaton in 1871 and in 1891, was married to Joseph Fessler. They located on the homestead farm,a short distance south of St. Nazianz.
Survivors are the widower: five sons, two daughters, two brothers, three sisters.
Mrs. Fessler was a member of the Christian Mothers, who will meet at the home Friday evening to recite the rosary.

Plan Last Rites For Mrs. Fessler At St. Nazianz
St. Nazianz, Wis. - Mrs. Joseph Fessler, Sr., aged 69, passed away at 10 p.m., Tuesday, at Holy Family hospital in Manitowoc after being ill since last Saturday.
Deceased, nee Margaret Meyer, was born July 20, 1871, in Eaton township.the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Math Meyer. On February 3, 1891, she was united in marriage to Joseph Fessler and the couple settled on the present farm located about one and one-half miles south of this village.
She was a member of the Christian Mothers' society, the members of which will attend the funeral in a body and at 7:30 p.m., Friday, will hold a vigil.
Survivors are the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Alex Woelfel of New Holstein, and Mrs. Anton Riesterer, who lives near St. Nazianz; five sons, (can't read), and Carl on the homestead. (can't read), Joseph of this village, Frank of Denmark, Wis., and Peter of Manitowoc; three sisters, Miss Mary Meyer and Mrs. Joe Knier of Valders, Route 1, and Mrs. Joseph Peter of Marshfield, Wis.; two brothers, Peter and Math. Meyer of this village, and 19 grandchildren. A brother, Michael Meyer, died last August.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. Gregory's church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Fintan Holzknecht,S.D.S., will officiate.
