Born Lillian Saborwitz in Detroit Michigan her parents were from Russia. She changed her first name to Arlene and then took her step fathers last name Nelson. Arlene married young she married Roy Brown and they had 8 children, they divorced because Roy was unfaithful throughout the 22 years they were married, he was very abusive to her and the kids, he drank all the time so Arlene ended up raising the five children that were still at home and very small by herself, it was rough she went through a lot but got through it. She ended up with many health problems besides heart problems she suffered with emphysema and several years later it took her life. May she rest in Peace. Her favorite color....Green
