AN ASIDE: He was known by his friends as "Shorty", but I remember him as Raymond. That is how I always heard his younger brother refer to him. But then, what intelligent person (who was no taller) would refer to his older brother as "Shorty." In fact, I recently learned that his immediate family referred to him as "Bulldog".
