102, widow of Robert T. Feeback, passed away Mon, Sep 20, 2010 at her home. She was born Sep 25, 1907 in the Old Stone Tavern at Ellisville, KY to the late Daniel E. and Elizabeth McClanahan Wells, attended Ellisville Grade School and graduated in 1927 from Carlisle High School. She attended Western Kentucky University and graduated from Georgetown College. She taught school for 27 years in Nicholas County. Mrs. Feeback was member of the Carlisle Christian Church, where she taught Primary and Junior Sunday School. She was a charter member of the Nicholas Co. Homemakers, a member of the Retired Teachers, Nicholas Co. Historical Society, Tourism, Inc. and Johnson-Mathers HealthCare Auxiliary. Survivors include her daughter, Martha Sue Taylor, Carlisle; a sister, Betsy Cleaver, Carlisle; and a grandson, Mark Taylor, Lexington; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by son-in-law, Ralph Taylor and 3 sisters, Margaret Anderson, Helen Pumphrey and Katherine Wells. Services will be 11am Wed from the Carlisle Christian Church by Rev. Steve Smith with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Gayle Bow, Danny Cleaver, John Cleaver, Cecil Shrout, Kenny Taylor and Steve Taylor. Honorary bearers will be Harold Feeback, Mike Kenney, Rob Lane, Richard Miller, Sara and Clint Sherrod, her nephews and great nephews, and her loving care-givers. Memorial contributions are suggested to Carlisle Christian Church Building Fund or Hospice of the Bluegrass. Visitation will be after 5pm today at the church.
