Helena was born in Swanwick Hampshire in 1889. She was the daughter of William Amber and his wife Mary Jane Jeffery. She married Charles Lansley in Sarisbury on 23 October 1912. She was the mother of William Charles Lansley and Ivy Lillian Lansley. She lived most of her adult life in Sutton Scotney Hampshire. She died at St Pauls Hospital Winchester 6 September 1980. She is buried with her husband Charles at Wonston Churchyard Hampshire.
