Ivy was born on 3 October 1920. She was the daughter of Charles Lansley and Helena Isabella nee Amber. She was baptized at St Johns Church Winchester on 2 January 1921. The address given at baptism was, 54 St Johns Steet, Winchester, the address of her paternal Grandparents. She married Winterton Alva carpenter on 24 June 1939. They had 4 children, Gloria June(deceased), Dawn Maureen and Kay Helen, and 1 boy (living). Ivy and Winterton divorced and Ivy remarried to Edward Wheeler. They had 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy. Ivy lived most of her adult life in Netley Marsh Hampshire. Ivy died 25 June 1995, whilst on holiday with her husband Ted in Somerset. She is buried at Netley Marsh Hamsphire.
