Born in Georgia, by 1880 AARON SIMINGTON SR. was a 36-year-old farmer living in Cass County, Texas.
By 1880, he was married to his first wife, Mrs. Ellen Lockett Simington. Their known children were Clara Simington, Amanda "Mandy" Simington, Aaron Simington Jr., Laura Simington, Katie Simington, Jerry Simington, Dave Simington, Magaline Simington, Sam Simington and Atkins D. Simington. Sadly, his first wife preceded him in death.
He married again on August 28, 1893 to Mrs. Hester (Kelly) Simington. From their union, several children were born including Charles "CH" Simington and Jessie B. Simington.
Upon his death, Mr. Simington was laid to rest on August 26, 1919 on the grounds of New Antioch Cemetery.
