EVELYN J. BECKWITH, FAWN

Evelyn Jane Beckwith, 86, of Fawn, died Monday (May 3, 1999) in Allegheny Valley University Hospital, Allegheny Valley, Natrona Heights, Harrison.

Bon Nov. 14, 1912 in Worthville, she lived in the Valley most of her life.

Mrs. Beckwith was a member of Center United Methodist Church in Fawn.

She enjoyed Flower gardening and crocheting.

Survivors include a son, Lonnie Beckwith of Arlington, Va.; two daughters, Judy Baker of Brackenridge and Darla Kelly of Fawn; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister Eleanor Beckwith of Fawn.
Mrs. Beckwith was preceded in death by her husband, John Foster Beckwith, in 1995, two sons, Loy and Gary Lee Beckwith; her parents, Theodore Cain and Louise Elizabeth Geist Wonderling; four brothers, Carl, Dorse, Espy and Glenn Wonderling; and three sisters, Pearl Hahn, Arveta Smith and Erma Myers.

Private services will be Friday in the Robert Peters Funeral Home Inc., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, with the Rev. Jim Gascoine officiating. Private burial will follow in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Center United Methodist Church, 1575 Donnellville Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065
