SERVICES FOR MALISSA V. DUNN

Mrs. Malissa Vassar Dunn, 59, widow of William Lee Dunn, died Thursday afternoon, June 16, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marion Tuck, of Randolph. Mrs. Dunn was born January 23, 1890, and was the daughter of the late John Alfred Vassar and Rosa Bell Snead Vassar.

Surviving are six sons, Benjamin and John Dunn of New Jersey; Reuben Dunn of Saxe; Ray and Sam Dunn of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Marion Tuck and Mrs. Agnes Mason of Randolph; Mrs. Frances Mason of Clarkton; also two sisters, Mrs. Sally Snead of Scottsburg and Mrs. Blanche Smith of Charlotte Court House; four brothers, Nathan, John, Harry and Isaac Vassar of Charlotte Court House, and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services was conducted by the Rev. J.R. McKenney, assisted by Rev. G.E. Gerringer, at the home near Phenix, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in the Dunn family cemetery near by.

Active pallbearers were: Benjamin Dunn; John Dunn; Reuben Dunn; Ray Dunn; Sam Dunn; Edwin Vassar.

Flower bearers were: Mrs. Aubrey Hamlette, Miss Phyllis Dunn, Miss June Tuck, Mrs. Clyde Dickerson, Mrs. Alice Tuck, Mrs. Virginia Boettcher, Mrs. Rosa Foster, Mrs. Ben Williamson, Mrs. Harold Trent, Mrs. Frank Baker, Mrs. Doris Ledbetter, Mrs. Elton Caudle.
