Died—At his home in the town of Charlestown, on Monday afternoon, on the 31, James H., son of Thomas and Catherine Baker, aged 14 years, 11 months and 22 days. This young man, who was taken from a happy home at so young an age was born in the town of Charlestown, Aug. 9, 1878. He was known by the entire community as a bright and manly youth, loved by his schoolmates and idolized by his parents, brothers and sisters. His illness was of short duration, only lasting a week. The bereft relatives have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their hour of grief and mourning. The funeral took place on Wednesday. Rev. D. O. Hinton of the Episcopal Church conducted the services. The remains were followed to the Hayton cemetery by a large concourse of mourning relatives and friends.
