As you can plainly see the Seminole Indians had absolutely nothing to do with the attack on Ruddle's Fort from which Sarah Cynthia's father, Joseph Hon Jr, his 3 sisters, & his mother were taken captive. This is a well documented piece of history.

Corrections: Joseph Hon Sr did not fight in the Revolutionary War. Joseph Hon Sr, wife Mary, Joseph Hon Jr, wife Eleanor Cave-Hon are all buried in the Martin Cemetery, Bowen, Powell County, Kentucky on Cane Creek. Entire family, except for Joseph Sr were taken captive by Indians following the attack on Ruddle's Fort, June 1780, Cynthiana, Kentucky. Mary Hon, was held captive for over 6 years by Shawnee Chief Blue Jacket. Mary Hon's maiden name has been recorded as Nodler/Knodler for many years, based on a marriage record in Philadelphia. That record shows a "Maria" Knodler married a Joseph "Haan" Every single record that mentions her name, including Joseph Hon Sr's last will, her name is Mary. 7 people in my Hon family line, including myself have taken the DNA test, none of us have a single match with a Knodler/Nodler. Mary's maiden name has been taken as fact since Daphne Hon-Ramsey's research was printed. I do not believe that the marriage record reflects my family at all. The record in question clearly reflects that the bride's name was "Maria" not Mary. All of the family taken at Ruddle's Fort was held for longer than the written "2 years" in this document.

Historic Marker in Falmouth, Kentucky. All of the prisoners & captives taken at both Ruddle's Fort & Martin Station (5 miles away) were force-marched down Bird's War Road following the attack. This sign is on the main street in Falmouth, by the Licking River bridge. Below the bridge is the spot where the soldiers landed on the water in order to prepare for the attack on these forts.
