Scooter was a very lovable, friendly gray tabby kitten. We adopted her from a death row pound, she was in a cage with 2 other tabby siblings.Scooter soon grew into a wonderful playful happy affectionate cat. She loved to be held, cuddle and sleep with us every night. She lived her life as a outdoor/indoor cat, but she rarely left the yard. She loved roaming the open land around the house and catching field mice, drinking milk and taking afternoon naps on the couch. She had many dog and cat friends, Dobie,Tessie,Blaze.I remember she liked to sneak up on our other cat Blaze and hide behind the door and jump out after him to scare him when he walked by. She was very funny and she loved to be carried around like a baby sitting on my hip while hanging on with both front paws.Tragiclly Scooter was killed by unknown motorist late at night while playing under a street lamp. One of our neighbors called and told us they found Scooter on the side of the road, her body in perfect shape with her pink collar still attached. My heart was very broken when she left as she had became such a light for me and brought me much happiness. After Scooters death, I made sure to keep all my animals inside and safe from traffic. We miss and love her every day. See you again baby coot.
