Mrs. Wanda Quattrone, age 84, formerly of Salamanca, NY was the daughter of the late Merton and Mae Riddle Burdick. She was married in Toccoa, GA on October 15, 1943 to Mr. Frank J. Quattrone who predeceased her on August 6, 1997.
Mrs. Quattrone owned and operated Wanda's Beauty Shop for 45 years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Salamanca, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars John F. Ahrens Post #5296, a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post #535. She was a great cook who was known for her lemon pies. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was an avid bingo and card player.
Surviving are daughter, Marsha (Robert W.) Painter; grandson, Robert C. Painter, Ohio; twin great granddaughters, Alyssa and Morgan Painter; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters, Hazel Crist, Flossie Waite, brothers, Howard Freeman and Vern Freeman.
