Rodgers C. Shook, 94, of Tannersville, died Sunday in his home.

A retired carpenter, he last worked for Primrose Brothers, Shawnee-on-Delaware.

Born in Snydersville, he was a son of the late Samuel and Martha Storm Shook. He lived in Monroe County all his life.

Mr. Shook was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tannersville; Independent Order of Odd Fellows; Patriotic Order of Sons of America; Lehigh Valley Carpenters Union, Local 600, and a charter member of the Pocono Township Volunteer Fire Co. His wife, the former Cora Feller, preceded him in death.

Surviving are a granddaughter, a great-grandchild and nieces and nephews. A son, Deward, preceded him in death.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the William R. Thomas Funeral Home, Stroudsburg. Interment will be in Custards Cemetery, Bartonsville.
