Grant Russell Sanford Sr, my maternal grandfather, was a loving and caring person. He and my grandmother, Donna Bell Felkey, loved each other more than any couple I have ever known. She was his life and he was hers. They were married for almost 50 years before my gradmother passed away. They had 4 children and 10 grandchildren, my mother is the oldest of their children. When I was a little girl and didn't feel good, I would sit on my grandpas lap and snuggle up to his big belly. It didn't take long for me to start feeling better. I always tell my daughter that grandpas lap was magic!!! I really miss grandpa and his magic lap.
