A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Unity Presbyterian Church Historic Sanctuary, with Dr. Dan Holloway and the Rev. Jeannie Bickett officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Born in Spartanburg, Mrs. Wilson was a daughter of the late William Jefferson Nickles and Edith Leighton Nickles. She graduated from Erskine College. Mrs. Wilson taught 34 years in Fort Mill public schools. She was a member of Unity Presbyterain Church. Mrs. Wilson volunteered with the Red Cross and the Fort Mill Care Center.
Surviving are sister, Sarah Pruitt of Atlanta, Ga. and Serveral nieces and nephews. She was the widow of Fred H Wilson, Jr.
