He was born on September 13, 1927 in Manitowoc, son of the late Joseph and Emily (Kwitek) Hibbard.
Harold was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1946.
On July 12, 1947 he married the former Dorothy Ahl at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. She preceded him in death on August 16, 2008.
Harold was employed with the Union Local 11 as a mason until his retirement.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathi & Fred Bonde, Elkhart Lake and Karan Woelfel, Nebraska; five sons and daughters-in-law, Harry & Mary Hibbard, Newton, Kenn & Sue Hibbard, Maribel, Dale & Jodi Hibbard, Manitowoc, Allan & Ellen Hibbard, Manitowoc, Bill & Debbie Hibbard, Newton; 23 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; two sisters, Pearl Wernecke, Newton, Janet King, Appleton; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
He was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Steve Woelfel; a brother, Kenneth Hibbard; one brother-in-law, Elton Wernecke and other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral Services will be held October 7, 2010 at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Service will be the Sr. Marlita Henseler with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Harold enjoyed spending time with family in Crivitz fishing, camping, snowmobiling, hunting, motorcycling and most recently watching loud T.V.
