Esther E. Brechbiel

Esther E. Rider Brechbiel, 81, of Mechanicsburg died Wednesday, July 1, 1998, in Holy Spirit Hospital.

She was born July 30, 1916 in Cumberland County, the daughter of the late Edwin D. and Elizabeth Clark Rider.

She was the widow of Bruce M. Brechbiel.

Mrs. Brechbiel was a member of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg.

Surviving are two sons, William B. of Wormleysburg and Robert E. of Dillsburg; three daughters, Joanne L. Lehman and Shirley B. Paull, both of York Springs, and Judith A. Palmore of Glenn Allen, Va.; two brothers, Bruce Rider of Erie and Chester Rider of Enola; three sisters, Helen Lowe and Ruth Stine, both of Mechanicsburg, and Marie Wrightstone of Shiremanstown; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. Steven D. Dorsett officiating. Burial will be in Trindle Springs Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 15 State Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
