United in Marriage at Baptist Parsonage at Caro.
On Saturday, January 24, at the Baptist parsonage at Caro, occurred the marriage of Miss Dora Hoadley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hoadley of Greenleaf, and Anson Karr. Rev. Denman performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Karr is a member of the class of 1911 arid has since been teaching in Sanilac county, coming to Greenleaf from Colorado five years ago. The groom is well known here, having lived near Cass City or Gagetown all his life. On Friday, January 30, a reception will be given at the home of the bride's parents.

Mrs. Dora Karr buried Friday
Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Friday for Mrs. Dora Karr, 82, who died Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Marlette Community Hospital. She had been a patient there three years.
Mrs. Karr was born May 25, 1890, in Cedar Springs, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy and Myrte Harrison Hoadley.
She was united in marriage to Anson Karr in January of 1914 in Caro. Following their marriage they made their home in Greenleaf township. Her husband, Greenleaf township clerk for 22 years, died July 9, 1968.
Mrs. Karr was a member of the Fraser Presbyterian Church. She taught school at one time.
She is survived by one son, Keith of Grosse Pointe Woods; two brothers, Howard Hoadley of Imlay City and Robert Hoadley of Cass City ; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Three sons, four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
Services were conducted from Little's Funeral Home, Cass City, with burial in the family lot in Elkland cemetery.
The Rev. John Nipper, pastor of the Fraser Presbyterian Church, officiated.
