Mrs. Nannie Margaret Watson, 78, of Titusville, Fla, formerly of Richlands, and Berwind, W. Va., died Tuesday afternoon, Oct 26, in a Titusville hospital following a long illness.
Born in Richlands, she was a daughter of the late Fields J. and Malinda Brown Helton. She had made her home in Florida the past 16 years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Her husband, William R. Watson preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Myrl Thomas of Titusville, Fla.; three sons, Bernard Watson of Lady Lake, Fla., Ira Watson of Tazewell, and T. T. Watson of Orlando, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Beavers of Richlands, Mrs. Barbara Moore of Newhall, W. Va., and Mrs. Mollie Hazzard of Washington, D. C.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Friday in Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Holmes and Rev. Max Linkous officiating. Burial followed in Hankins Cemetery in Richlands.
Hurst-Scott Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
