NEW SITE - George Bryan "Tater" Denson, 84, died Wednesday at his residence. He was a retired farmer and a Mason.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Little Brown Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Luther Gibson, the Rev. Gene Gilbert and the Rev. Hollis Southerland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home is in a charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lona Denson of New Site; five daughters, Mrs. Jane Moore of New Site, Mrs. Gloria Mae Wiggington of Booneville, Mrs. Virginia Jones of Tishomingo, Mrs. Rene Clark of Gulfport, and Mrs. Grace Johnson of Baldwyn; two sons, Thomas E. Denson of Booneville and Prince Edward Denson of Gulfport; two half-sisters, Mrs. Merthice Mayo of New Site and Mrs. Effie Green of Tishomingo; 19 grandchildren children and nine great-grandchildren.
