Born April 30, 1978 in Beckley, he was a 1996 graduate of Marsh Fork High School. He was the son of Nancy Lee Burgess and Ronald Keith Maynor both of Clear Creek.
Ronald was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Roy and Arbutus Long; and Beulah Scarbro McClure and Stanley Carrell; also his grandparents, Zety and Eusten Maynor.
Those left to cherish his memories include his loving wife of 16 years and married 11 years, Helen Maynor; daughter, Kaitlyn Maynor and a son, Hunter Maynor of Clear Creek; parents, Nancy Burgess and husband, Fred of Artie, and Ronald Keith Maynor and wife, Audrey of Clear Creek; grandparents, Leo and Nancy Long of Clear Creek brother, Blake Maynor and wife, Robin of Clear Creek; sister, Ramona Williams and husband, Billy of Artie; also many extended close family members and friends.
Ronald Lee was a beloved husband, father, son, grandson,nephew, cousin, and friend. He was a wonderful family man who loved spending time with his wife and children. He was always a hard worker and a great provider. He enjoyed taking his daughter fishing and shooting her gun, where she killed her first squirrel last year with her Daddy. He loved wrestling with his son and taking him for rides on the 4-wheeler, they loved passing the football between each other.
Ronald Lee was known to everyone for his love of hunting, any hunting season that would come up you would always see him starting up his 4-wheeler and ready to go.
Ronald Lee was a very kind person who was always willing to help out anyone who needed him, no matter what time of the day it was. Ronald Lee will be greatly missed but never forgotten in our hearts.
Services will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Rev. Ronnie Stapleton and Rev. Greg Scarbro officiating. Burial will follow in Burrell Branch Family Cemetery, Clear Creek.
Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
Friends may gather with the family from 6:00PM until 9:00PM Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the funeral home.
