Born April 10, 1877 in Virginia, he was a son of the late Thomas A. and Margaret Ann Williams Cumby.
Surviving are four sons, Carl, Herman, Woodrow and William of Cincinnati, Oh.; one brother, C.E. Cumby of Bramwell; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pilgrim Holiness Church at Bramwell with the Rev. A. L. Sypolt officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The body will remain at Pocahontas Union Funeral Home where friends may call Friday afternoon. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Donald Allen, Robert Cook, Jr., Howard Goins, Guy Stykes, Robert Eller and C.R. Johnson.
