Former Gresham resident Margaret S. Wiebold died Tuesday, Oct. 19, in Portland. She was 85.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd. Private entombment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland.

Margaret was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Portland to Noel and Madeline (Rankin) Lawrence. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1941.

Margaret resided in Gresham for most of her life. She worked at First National Bank in Gresham and later at Ticor Title Insurance Co. in Gresham as a senior escrow officer. She was divorced.

Margaret volunteered at Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center. She was an avid reader and loved going to the beach, taking cruises and playing cards. She was a longtime Portland Trail Blazers fan.

Survivors include her son, Mark Doolittle of Klamath Falls; daughters, Carol Johnston of Portland and Chris Harms of Gresham; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
