DIED FROM HEART DISEASE
John Barnett, a clerk in the Rogers & Cole hardware store, received a message from Decatur this morning notifying him of the death of his father, Henry Barnett, a prominent farmer of Adams County. He was sixty-five years of age.
The informant of Mr. Barnett stated that his father had died while at the breakfast table and that death was directly due to heart disease. He had been in poor health much of the time during the past year but was thought to have grown strong again. He leaves a wife and seven children, all grown, to mourn his death.
Mr. Barnett went to Decatur on the noon train, to remain until after the funeral.

FELL DEAD AT TABLE
John Barnett received a telegram Saturday informing him of the sad death of his father at his home near Decatur. John's father, whose name is Henry, was a man aged about sixty-four years. He has been in failing health for some time but it was thought in the past week or so that he was somewhat improving. Saturday morning he was able to go to the breakfast table and was in apparently fine spirits.
While his death was least expected he suddenly fell from his chair and was dead within a few minutes. His death is ascribed to heart failure and all his symptoms would indicate that this was the cause of his death. Mr. Barnett, who went to Decatur at noon, could not tell what the arrangement for the funeral would be.
Henry Barnett has for thirty years resided on a farm near Decatur. He was a respected citizen of Adams county. Surviving him are three sons and four daughters. His aged wife is also living.
