Pembroke - Arthur Burnsed, 83, died Tuesday in Candler General Hospital in Savannah after a long illness. He was a native of Bulloch County and a retired carpenter and farmer.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Ann DeLoach, Pembroke, and Mrs. Lillian B. Hendrix, Bellville; two brothers, James Burnsed, Jacksonville, Fla., and Rufus Burnsed, Pembroke; three sisters, Mrs. Ollie White, Savannah, Mrs. Arlene Todd, Hagan, and Mrs. Lois Morgan, Daisy; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Morrison Funeral Home in Pembroke with Elder Harold Burnsed and Elder Jack Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery near Pembroke.
